Your events are so enjoyable - the hotel was amazing, the staff could not have been more helpful and your classes run like clockwork. If you enjoy your country walks, this is definitely the weekender for you, they even wrote a song about it! "On Ilkla Moor Baht 'at" (Standard English: On Ilkley Moor without a hat). Also only 500 yards away you have the beautiful village, with amazing shops & eateries, inc Betty’s Tea Rooms!. It really is a gorgeous village.

Friday Night: Fun Class circa 9.30pm, Dancing MJ 8.30pm till 2am, 2 Rooms with Teacher Introduction.
Room 2: 8 - 1am A fusion of Smooth Dancing, where you can incorporate your WCS, Smooth Jive, Tango & Blues (All the chilled smooth stuff!).
Saturday Workshops/Freestyle: Workshops 10.30am - 5.30pm 2 rooms, Freestyle 8.30pm - 2am, with Teacher & Fun Cabaret and always our latest, busiest night. Room 2: Same Format as Friday Night.

Sunday Workshops/Squeeze Dance: Workshops 10.30am - 5.30pm 2 rooms, then dancing from 8pm - 11pm (Includes: Complimentary water & Parking) Then it’s off home, or join us for a pure calm down and chill out that evening in the residents bar, lots of lovely company and chit chat in the bar.
For those wishing to stay over Sunday night it also Inc’s Evening Meal Sunday & Breakfast on Monday.

Keith & Janey with Lee & Dawn, will be your Main Modern Jive Teacher’s - they have performed on the same stage as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Katie Melua & worked alongside Alisha Dixon on the BBC, Keith with Vicky also won the Ceroc Scottish & World Showcase 2018/19.
Linz, the Queen of Choreography, WCS & Amazing Solo Fun Dances, keeping things fun and getting everyone into the groove - a firm favourite with ALL our dancers.

We always aim to provide amazing Modern Jive Weekenders, whilst also dipping your toe into dances such as Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Blues, American Swing & Lindy Hop plus our now famous fun group dance and this weekender is no exception, see below.

Sunday Tea Dance ALL Genre’s Played 8pm - 11pm Inc’s Complimentary water & parking.
3. Workshops Only:
Saturday: 2 Rooms, 11+ Workshops, 10.30 - 5.30pm Released nearer the time.
Sunday: 2 Rooms, 11+ Workshops, 10.30 - 5.30pm Released nearer the time.
Workshops will grow progressively throughout the weekend, starting with foundation & more basic moves, or tricks you can do with a more basic move, getting more in-depth & trickier as the weekend progresses.
So no matter what level you are at, you should find quite a lot to suit:
We are heavily Modern Jive, with a further split of Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Zouk, Blues, Lindy/1940’s Swing + a great favourite of our dancers, the Fun Group Dance (Dances vary from Weekender to weekender - See above for Ilkley).
Please Note: We do our best to Gender Balance, this will mean there will be times when we cannot accept any more Followers (this usually means ladies) 😢 We can still add you to our waiting list, just email & let us know what you’d like to join, ie full weekender or just Saturday night. We can then let you know if something comes available.
