-------------------------------------

Keith started dancing in 1993 at his local Ceroc Club, then found other dance companies around Cheshire teaching Modern Jive & soon realised there was a huge new world out there, and started taking lessons in Latin Dances, Blues, Swing even trying a little Stomp! In 2000 he and his wife Janey Co-Launched what is now deemed to be one of the largest and finest Dance Competitions in the UK; ‘Chance 2 Dance’ in Blackpool. Since then they have been regulars teaching & performing all over Europe in countries such as; France, Spain, Italy, Turkey & even as far as Mexico besides all over the UK, almost Lands End to John O’Groats! Keith, Janey & Bev have appeared at the Opera House Manchester in various Swing Shows, every year since 2004, and in 2008 also appeared at the Palace Theatre Manchester. In 2006 Keith Produced & Directed the Theatre Show ‘Strictly Not Ballroom’ to a sell out audience and latterly performed at the BBC Proms in the Park, alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and Katie Melua, Keith also performed a solo dance to 'Mr Bo Jangles', to a televised audience of over 10 Million plus an 11,000 crowd.

Keith says that he and Janey have enjoyed dance so much since they started in 1993 that they will do their utmost to ensure you will also find as much pleasure on the dance floor as they have. Revolution Dance aims to keep inspiring dancers and moving forward with the times, giving real value for money, and to confirm this statement, their guarantee states; 'If you don't think you got value for money at any event or class, they will give you 4 weeks free, no questions asked!'

This is dance, but not as you know it!

We take French Jive, you may know it as Ceroc, LeRoc, LeJive, Blitz, MoJive etc and Fuse it with Blues, Swing, Tango, Salsa, Cha Cha and lots more. We put fun back into Partner Dancing, with a hint of Dance from the famous film ‘Dirty Dancing’. This is Partner Dancing, where you needn’t worry about having a partner. We welcome, Singles, Couples, and groups.

If you have, no dance or limited experience...

Each week we start off with a basic class, for New Starters & Improvers, moving onto Freestyle, giving you time to practice. We always have friendly staff at hand, throughout the evening, to help you with any part of your dancing.

For the Intermediate Dancer!

You’re in luck then. One of only a hand full of dance companies, that not only teach new & fused dance patterns, but also teach how to make the move your own, getting ownership rather than a mechanical movement. We do this via Intermediate & Advanced lessons, coaching Style, Musicality including the Rolling Count along with centring. Proven techniques from ‘Skippy Blair’ a Dance God, from America. www.swingworld.com/articles We also teach the unexpected, so look out for our unusual dance nights, when our lessons may be geared towards, spinning or footwork. We also have a separate room to whisk 20 – 30 willing dancers off for an impromptu lesson, for the more adventurous dancer! Is it a class or is it a workshop? You decide.
